We updated the Value Add Basketball All-Conference teams initially posted at Christmas. Note that we list the number of games played and started for each player, so you know if a particular game performance was included, and find all 4000+ players listed at www.valueaddbasketball.com.
When I told a future Orlando Magic executive in 2012 he needed to consider Norfolk State's Kyle O'Quinn, it was partly because of his 5.05 Value Add ranking. Norfolk State's current Kris Bankston now has the highest Value Add in Norfolk State history at 5.17 (see all-time data base). Norfolk State opened Mid-Eastern Atlantic Conference play with a huge 77-74 win against Howard, who in turn lost by an identical three points (71-68) to Notre Dame. Howard boasts four of the top sven players in our rankings, so may still have a slight edge despite the 0-1 start.
