In the 2022 NCAA tournament Caleb Love went off for 23 points to stake UNC to a 53-25 first half, demolition of Marquette then cruised to a 95-63 win. The Tar Heels used that second round win to launch a run that came within seconds of a national title after ending rival Coach K's career in the Final Four.
In the Value Add Basketball Game simulation Sunday the same UNC team drew the 1994 Sweet 16 team from Marquette that included three NBA players - and was it deja Vu.
Love had a 4-point play when he was fouled by Marquette's Tony Miller to stake UNC to an almost as impressive 52-32 lead and 83-60 win.
