All the talk in MLB is about how the best teams seems to be coming out rusty with the new bye system, with 1000win teams like the Atlanta Braves fall to teams they were beating during the season.
Obviously rust is not a factor when playing with game cards- and in Statis-Pro the Braves looked as dominant in Games 3 and 4 against the Phillies as they did in the regular season of both Statis-Pro and the MLB season.
After splitting the first two games in Atlanta, likely MVP Ronald Acuna went 6 of 10 with 3 home runs and the Braves beat the Phillies 8-5 and 14-2 to win the series 3 games to 1. The Astros await in the Statis-Pro World Series for the winner of the Cubs-Braves NLCS.
