Mark Leiter's Statis-Pro debut looked every bit that of an ace, as he allowed only a hit and a walk through 6 innings, before leaving after a leadoff single in the 7th. The Cubs won I. Hitter friendly Great America Ball Park (11-63 homer vs average of 11-35).
Yan Gomes 3-run homer was on a deep drive that would have been caught in Wrigley.
In the second game in Wrigley, the Cubs rallied from four runs down to win 7-6 in 11 innings to draw even at .500 this year.

The Dodgers have lived dangerously, winning all four of their actual games by a total of 5 runs - to get credit for 2-1 series wins for all four for the 8-4 record.
