While we have been reporting on our Statis-Pro NL season being played in Milwaukee, a corresponding AL Season is being played in Montana. The two commissioners/players have played alternating leagues on and off since the 1980s. Unlike our Milwaukee league that players a "games counts as 3 games" format, the Montana league plays straight up a game is a game.
Early returns show the “east” beating up on the
“west”, but it will be interesting to see if that
continues.
Low batting averages and impressive pitching
stats mark the early individual numbers.
In a league with limited offense, the top scoring
team (Tor) has the best record.
Pleasant surprise is Baltimore. With an
overachieving offense and good pitching to get
above .500.
Also a nice comeback from Texas. Their revamped
rotation started 2-6, but they’ve recovered to 9-9.
The big underachiever is Cleveland. Their very
good bullpen has combined to start 0-6, and
send them to the worst record.
Hopefully, we can get a good sample size to
see how this evenly matched league plays out.

Reminder Note: To play our own Statis-Pro Baseball games, click and print the batters cards here, then these pitchers' cards and finally the Statis-Pro rules which will have everything you need to play. Also note that we had one error in earlier notes - the adjustments listed at the bottom of some pitcher cards to the batters they face (changing a HR to Out or vice versa) must be used every time they pitch, not just in road games as previously listed. You may notice this season that our blogs are picked up by https://www.baseball-reference.com/ so when a player is mentioned you can link for their stats by clicking.
