Statis-Pro Standings and Leaders at All-Star Break

We hit the all-star break and the Astros and the Red Sox keep their top spots. (and possible first round bye in the playoffs)

The Houston bullpen continues to overperform and Boston continues to lead the league in runs scored.
The White Sox are battling through injuries and the Angels continue to surprise. The Rays have fought their way back to the .500 mark but will have to contend with Cleveland and Oakland for the final playoff spot.  If the Red Sox get Chris Sale back in the second half they will be the favorites.

As for individual awards, a pair of subpar starts from Shane Bieber has opened the door in the Cy Young race.  With a strong second half, at least half-a-dozen pitchers have a shot at the award.
The big shock is in the AL Statis-Pro MVP race.  Alex Verdugo (.315 avg, 11 HR, 25 RBI) has come out of nowhere to overperform with his card and make a strong bid for the honor.  Can he keep it up in the 2nd half?  Teammate Rafael Devers (.342 avg, 9 HR, 19 RBI) along with Gleyber Torres (.303 avg, 9 HR, 26 RBI) from the Yankees and Alex Bregman (.309 avg, 8 HR, 25 RBI) of the Astros are also making a strong run.
