The series continues as this year after hundreds of Statis-Pro games resulted in the same final four teams as the real game. The Astros and Red Sox battled in Game 2 earlier today, and we will kick off the Braves at Dodgers while watching the actual World Series Game 2.
ALCS Game 2. Astros vs. Red Sox
The drama continues in the series. The teams battle to 3-3
in the 8th. Michael Brantley shocks everyone with his 3rd HR of the postseason.
Ryan Pressly comes on to save it, but gives up a clutch 2-run HR to backup
catcher Kevin Plawecki in the 9th and the Red Sox move on top 5-4. But in the
bottom of 9th Matt Barnes gives up his own clutch hit when pinch hitter Aledmys
Diaz rips a double to tie it 5-5, creating the rare double blown save in 9th.
Boston bails him out next inning when Xander Bogaerts and JD Martinez go
back-to-back giving the Red Sox a 7-5 lead. Digging deep into the bullpen the
Sox Darwinzon Hernandez, notably wild, walks the first two batters but settles
down to record the save. (Series tied 1-1)
