While the Astros decimated pitching staff was crushed by the Red Sox in real baseball, in Statis-Pro the healthier Astros won as did the Red Sox as both try to reach the ACLA.
ALDS Game 3.
The Red Sox series chances hanging in the balance. This time they blow three separate leads (4-0, 6-5, 7-6) The game goes to extra innings. After the White Sox squander two chances, JD Martinez makes them pay with a solo homer in the top 12th. Martinez caps the night 3-6, 2 HR, 4 RBI. Boston wins it 8-7 in 12 innings to stay viable in the best of 7. (CWS leads series 2-1)
ALDS Game 3.
A pivotal game and the Astros looked ready to take it. Another strong start, this time from Fromber Valdez and they take a 2-1 lead into the 9th. But Ryan Pressly can't close it when he gives up a solo shot to Joey Gallo. (his first hit of series) 2-2 headed into extra innings. Top 11, Kyle Tucker triples and Alex Bregman drives him home. Kendall Graveman saves it. Astros back in front in the best of 7. (Houston leads series 2-1)
