Braves Celebrate Spectacular Fried and ALDS Win

Only a 2-out 9th inning single by Lindor broke up a Max Fried no hitter, and Fried added another RBI double at the plate in a 2-0 game-clinching win for the Braves. They will now play the Dodgers in the ALCS after beating the Mets 4 games to 1.

Stroman took his own no hitter in the 5th and a shutout for 2 outs in the 7th before Soler homered to make it 1-0.

Diaz relieved I the 8th and walked DuVal, then with one out Fried sent a ball past JD Davis at 3rd base for a run scoring double - the third time Davis has failed to come up with a clutch defensive play with Fried at the plate this series.

Game 4 looked tougher for the Braves with Pederson and DuVal out injured, but Freeman had a single, double and trip to deliver a 7-4 win.
