Despite Buffs 3-pt, Kansas Improves to 6-0 vs Big 12 to Make Final 4

Kansas 2022 national champs are the 1st team to make the Final 4 of our third tournament of our all-time great Value Add Basketball Game champs, making the great all-time Kansas teams 6-0 against other great Big 12 teams.

Ochai Agbaji (18 points, 6 rebounds) set the tone early with a 4-point play to make it 29-22 and the Jayhawks never trailed - but the Colorado 2021 kept it close to try to extend their stunning 5-0 start in our game.

The first picture shows the coins on the team of 3-point shooters Colorado put in the game for the closing few possessions to use the desperation strategy of trying to get off 3-pointers and fouling if they didnt get a quick foul for the final 53 seconds after trailing 75-68.

They fouled Christian Braun and he made 1 of 2 to make it 76-68 but that created the extra possession on the bottom of the possession 2 box. They couldnt get off a 3, but Jeriah Horn  dunked on the 51 defensive role to cut it to 76-70 - meaning they were barely alive, but it would take a perfect 5 final roles:

A-  they first needed a stop at the bottom of Kansas possession 2 which they got.

B - Colorado then needed to hit a 3 and the strategy worked

8-sided die was a 1, which normally would go to their top star McKinley Wright, but since he only had a 1-1 three-point range he was on the bench and it went to Eli Parquet with a 1-3 range and normally a 4-9 two-point made. However when trying for 3s that range can he up to doubled as long as for every 3-pt number added you can take away one 2-pt made and turn it into a miss and defensive rebound.

That means with this strategy his 3-pt range was 1-6 and 7-9 would be a miss and defensive rebound and a 6 was rolled on the 20-sided die to make it 76-73 and give hope for a 6th straight miracle close upset for Colorado.

C - they the went for another turnover or foul to create another possession in the bottom half if the box, and fouled Dajuan Harris, who missed the first one to keep Colorado mathematically alive. However he hit the second one to make it 77-73 and seal the win.

D - Jeriah Horne then put up a final 3, but this time the 3-point strategy took away a 2-point bucket as it was a 7, and his adjusted range was also 1-6 three-point made but 7-8 two-point missed so it was a miss and automatic defensive rebound for the 77-73 Kansas win.

E - if Colorado had a perfect finish and tied it 76-77 Kansas would have had one more shot to win and avoid overtime - but we do not have teams take a final shot if they've already won.

Get turnover or quick foul (do not roll the 20-sided die to do this
