Updated College Basketball Injuries Approaching Selection Sunday

While there are many minor injuries at the end of a basketball season tracked by Don's Best, the following are just the players announced in the last week as either "inj season" (out for the season) or "inj indef" (out indefinitely so might not return this season even if the team makes the tournament). The injuries definitely hurt American Athletic Conference Champion Wichita State in their conference tournament loss, just as the previous week's big injury hurt Big East Champ Villanova as they were defeated by Georgetown in the opening round of the Big East.

These notes are presented by all impacted players at the www.valueaddbasketball.com database, and the notes below will be added when we update the ratings this weekend and produce the 2021 Value Add Basketball Game player cards. In addition, some players in the database have the note "inj back playing" to indicate their rating was held down because they were injured, but have returned.
