The tracker of Statis-Pro baseball games between our all-time great 60 teams shows only six debut games still to be played. These will all feature the starting ace's for each team. Almost all the remaining starters are PB 2-8, usually the best rate for a starters since only the best relievers are usually in the top 5 percent of all pitchers based on WAR per innings pitched. We passed 50,000 unique visitors for the month July 20, the third time we have passed 50,000 as a monthly total (also happened in February and June of this year). We are on pace to set our all-time record today.
Colorado ace Mark Redman was just a PB 2-7 and Tampa's Scott Kazmire (still good but top 35%), while only the Astros Justin Verlander is the very unusual PB 2-9.
The only top 100 players of all time still to play in these final six games are 23. Rickey Henderson with his 1989 Oakland A's, 52. Clayton Kershaw and his 2019-21 LA Dodgers, 24. Randy Johnson and his 2001 Arizona Diamondbacks, 97. Adrian Beltre and his 2011 Texas Rangers, 65. Max Scherzer and his 2019 Washington Nationals and Verlander at 72nd of all-time.
Here are the pitching match-ups for those final six debut games, with four games out west and two in the south.
