Julio Rodríguez homered to start a 4-run inning in the bottom of the 8th to cut it to 9-5. Rodriguez would homer again in the 9th inning and the Yankees Ben Rice also homered in both the 8th and 9th as the remainders of both pens were shredded.
The Yankees move into 3rd place of 12 teams, but are still behind the Minnesota Twins.
