The following is and expanded set of unusual Z-Plays for Statis-Pro Baseball. This was always a fun part of the game since the first blue chart I still have in my 1978 game. However, I will be using this chart. If you use Fast Action Cards you know a "Z" can appear by the PB: instead of a 2 to 12 - thus putting the 11-88 random number on this chart instead of the batter or pitcher card.
If you are using dice, our game calls for the Z-Chart to be used if the 20-sided die comes up as a "20" AND at least one of the two 6-sided dice comes up as a "6." Part of the fun of this great chart - put together by a reader who did not want credit. For example, I didn't know that if anything but the glove or hand was used on a catch it was not a catch. He lets the outfielder get away with it in this game, but if plays like that are too crazy for your taste, you can just record it as an F8.not and if so go with the results.
You can use simple z-charts like the one we included in the game, just choose before the game if you want to use these fun charts or m
