Statis-Pro World Series Game Two:
The Dodgers once again jumped to the early lead. Max Muncy with an RBI double in the 1st, then Tommy Edman follows with an RBI double in the 4th and a 2-0 LA lead. The Mariners erased that deficit in the 6th with RBI singles from Randy Arozarena and Mitch Garver. After quality starts from both starters, (Yoshinobu Yamamoto & George Kirby, 6 IP, 2 ER each) the bullpens were solid and sent the game into extra innings. It set the stage for another unlikely postseason hero. While Teoscar Hernandez has been excellent in real life, it has not translated to Statis-Pro this year. In this very accurate board game, he is this year’s exception. He hit a miserable .185 during the regular season. Also combining that with the playoffs, he went an astounding 230 AB (58 games) without a home run. Until game two of the World Series when he launched a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 10th to win it for the Dodgers 3-2. LA now leads series 2-0.
Time to shift to the AL commissioner and the Seattle home games.
