The favored Los Angeles Dodgers won Games 1 and 2 of our 2024 Statis-Pro World Series at home (actually played by Montana Commissioners) and now the action shifts to Seattle (actually played by Milwaukee Commissioner).
The cards and roster rules have been slightly different. The first two games utilized traditional Statis-Pro baseball cards based on the 2023 stats but using the live 2024 roster as the season progressed. It was mainly a "what-if" season so players actually injured could play as long as they stayed on the 40-man roster.
The Milwaukee league played a pure "what if" league where any players stayed on their team even if injured. These also used projected 2024 states on the sheets shown below, so similar in most cases but not exactly the same as the 2023 cards used in Montana. However, we did remove players not on the 40 man roster, to make our rules consistent for the World Series, most notably that meant Clayton Kershaw out for the Dodgers and his former teammate Justin Turner out for the Mariners.
The main line-up change we use in our Milwaukee Games 3 and 4 is we always hit Ohtani 1st because he is the greatest :-) whereas the Montana commissioners had him hit cleanup for Games 1 and 2. Here are the line-ups, bench, rotation and bullpen for both teams for Games 3 and 4, followed by links to all players below. The 3rd and 4th pitchers listed under Rotation for each team will be the Game 3 and 4 starters, as the top two pitchers already pitched in Games 1 and 2.
