Cubs Win to Tie Mets for 1st in Statis-Pro

The first 8 Cubs batters rank in the top 200 in WAR, by far the best in baseball. The Cubs lineup is the top photo, and the top 200 WAR ratings are by each player.

We do our score sheet and the photos differently, with the batters of one team listed first, then the pitchers of the other team so you see the matchups.

The Cubs went into St. Louis and registered a 6-4 win to tie for 1st with the Mets. In just our 12th game if the season, this was the first time the losing team scored more than three runs. The average real score in MLB the last few years has been 6-3. However in our early 12 games the average score has been just over 6 runs for the winner and just under 2 runs for the loser.

In our 6-team NL East, the Cubs and Mets are 4-2, Phillies and Pirates are 3-3, and Brewers and Cardinals are 2-4. Road teams are 10-8 so far. If the higher score is the first number, it means the home team to the left won. If the second number is higher it means the road team above won.
