AL All-Star Starting Line-Up for Statis-Pro Game June 28, 2020

Our Statis-Pro Commissioners of the NL and AL Coordinated Playing out the 2020 All-Star Game in person Sunday, June 28 in Salt Lake City. The AL is the first to announce the starting line-up with the Indians' third basemen Jose Ramirez leading off followed by Angels' Centerfielder Mike Trout. The players were chosen for best simulated results so far in our season, so are not necessarily the best starting card.

For the AL, Charlie Morton of the Rays will start the game, with Liam Hendriks of the A's the top middle reliever and the Yankees' Aroldis Chapman closing. Other players listed below are still in the running for roster spots based on our tally of how many times each player had been one of the stars of the game (see previous blogs). We finally settled on the cards below available by clicking here (we do not sell anything), but we do still update the Clutch Defense RatingsPitcher at Bat cards, and I updated based on my calculations the On-base running and any projected cards that don't make the order deck like 2019 Minor League Player of the Year Luis Robert below who Zips projects to be a start for the White Sox.

AL Position All-Stars

We plan to pick 23 AL position players for the All-Star team. Below they are listed by position. A player with a 100% chance has already been chosen as his teams representative on the team. The other percentages give a rough chance through games of June 12. The players pictured above are in bold below. We will track all game score sheets on this blog to focus on players increasing their chances of making the team.

NL Relegated Team Stars in Interleague Play

While the 10 NL teams who made the cut will have their All-Stars selected separately since their stats are tracked in their league, we did also track the big games for players from the five NL teams that were relegated. The five players in bold are the team selected to represent the Padres, Giants, Marlins, Pirates and Rockies. In addition, we listed a few other stars from interleague games for the NL to consider as they fill positions on their roster.
