The Statis-pro card for Mookie Betts was almost benched for the Giants series, with Kiki Hernandez taking his place. His current OPS is more than 0.200 points lower than the projection we used to calculate his card, meaning his home run drops to 27-31, deep drive to 32-34, and strike out range starts two lower for a range of 35-41. No other ranges change.
However we then dropped him nearly to the bottom of the line-up.
The Giants opened 3-run leads early in both games, and after pulling out the opener 5-4 in extra innings looked like they had a chance to solidify 2nd place in the NL West.
However the Dodgers then unloaded for a 10-3 win that gave credit for a 4.games to 2 series win and clinch advancing to play the 4 teams from the East who have advanced.
Four teams will fight for the final 3 spots in the west, with Logan Webb going against the Braves.
