Like the real MLB Reds, the Statis-pro version is still alive. Trevino had 4 of their 14 hit as they took a 5-1 lead into the bottom of the 7th with a chance at a sweep.
However by only holding on for a 6-5 win they would now need a sweep in the season finale over the East leading Reds to finish 25-23 to stay alive.
If the Reds did pull that off then the Brewers and Mets would both be tied with both having one series left against the Dodgers. However the Meta do have the tiebreaker since they win the season series 4-2.
