Reds 7th Place in MLB & Statis-Pro - Same Top 7

If the actual MLB season and our Statis-Pro MLB season ended today, the Cincinnati Reds would have a 1-game series to determine the 6th and final team in the playoffs - making the top seven teams the same in our simulations and actual play.

However, they would not be in the same order. The Phillies struggled in Statis-Pro after their starting pitchers were injured so they would need to win the 1-game series against the Reds in Statis-Pro to advance, while in the MLB season the Phillies just kept winning and would have the bye to the NL semifinals. In the actual MLB season, the Mets would be the team that would have to play the Reds in a game to advance.

In our Statis-Pro season the LA Dodgers are very likely to be the NL West champ to get one bye. However they are involved in all of the remaining games.

The LA Dodgers remaining schedule is all we need to play out. That includes:

LAD Snell vs. Mets Peterson - if Mets sweep (win by 5+ runs) they win, if they go 2-1 (win by 5 or less) they win the division unless the Brewers go 3-0.

LAD Yamamoto vs. Brewers Misiorowski - The Brewers win the division if they do better than the Mets and go 2-1 or 3-0.

If LAD beats both the Mets and Brewers, even if by 5 runs or less, then the Cubs win the Division.

If LAD wins both then they also win the West, but even if they lose the can play Arizona one or two more games to likely wrap up the NL West.
