Red Sox Get New Opponent - Surging Tigers for SIMPLE to Statis-Pro Advanced

In a scheduling change, the red hot Detroit Tigers will debut in our Statis-Pro baseball game to replace the Chicago White Sox as the Boston Red Sox opponent. This will be the first game played after we updated our simple rules version of the game - which you can click on here along with all 30 teams.

The Tigers are one of five "relegated" teams in our game this season, but we let all those teams play two 2-game series so each team in our league plays one series against a relegated team.

However, this also sets us up to change during the season and put the team back in if they show they really can compete. In real MLB the Tigers have won an incredible 15 or 20 to now have a winning record and pressure the Guardians, Royals and Tigers to make the AL Central the only division with four teams with winning records.

This is the first game since we added a simplified version of the Statis-Pro game that you can play with only two 8-sided dice, two 6-sided dice and the one page of instructions below. While games often get more and more complicated - we've tried going in the other direction. Make this very simple version of the game to get new or younger players to try it or people who want to play a lot of games in a season quickly (option 1 - and really grade school players). Then adding just one 20-sided die brings in all the fielding ratings for both errors and clutch defense to rob hits (option 2 - high school). Then Option 3 is if you actually have a board with Fast Action Cards and out charts (option 3 - college grad) and then to really take it to another level you can graduate to the Statis-Pro Advanced Game (option 4 - dissertation!) which is the only thing we don't offer for free but they guy who does that has an incredible product you can order on his Facebook page.

And speaking of introducing this 2024 Tigers in the simple game, try playing the 1984 Tigers in Statis-Pro advanced against a left-handed pitcher if you want to have some fun.
