Nash's 33 Not Enough; Malone and La Tech Advance to face Ray Allen and UConn

Steve Nash's 33 points almost gave the 1996 Santa Clara team the biggest comeback in our games history, rallying from 34-52 to a final possession game.

We caught one card mistake as the foul range was missing from all Santa Clara cards and should be the average 35-36 for all players.

Robert Golbert hit two free throws to increase Louisiana Tech's lead to 85-80 so a final bucket by Santa Clara left the final 85-82.

As a result, Karl Malone's Louisiana Tech advances to play our 2-seed UConn 1996 featuring Ray Allen.

The scoresheet lists points to the right of each player and team stats along 5h3 bottom of the sheet.
