Ohtani Leads off Statis-Pro Season at Washington Nats for Memorial Day

Update of Group A

Dodgers 2-0, 20-5 run differential

Nationals 0-1, 0-4 run differential

Athletics 0-1, 5-16 run differential

We were not sure if we would get any Statis-Pro baseball in with a busy work year, but we did at least produced the projected batters and projected pitchers and set up nine three team pods to try to get some games in this year.

The following is an image of the batting and pitching cards for our first game, the LA Dodgers visiting the Washington Nationals on Memorial Day. We put the cards is suggested line-up order and then the pitchers by suggested rotation, and the starting with the red closer the top relievers down.

The third team in this pod will be the Athletics, so each team will play a 2-game series against the other. In each 2-game series you can throw either your No. 1 and No. 4 starters, or your No. 2 and No. 3 starters so each series is equal. You can use each reliever in one of the two games against each opponent. The 4-game record determines the one team to advance to one of the three 3-team pods of survives, and from that we will have a championship pod of the three teams to survive two pods or eight games.

If their is a tie in a pod then we go head-to-head, then run differential in the 4 games, then runs allowed in the 4 games and if all that is tied then they need to play a playoff game.

Each card shows the top of each range - so Ohtani hits a home run on a 23-32 on the 11-88 cards or dice, and Yamamoto strikes out the opponent if he gets 2-8 to keep the action on his card (9-12 would be on the opposing Nat batters card) and then has a 25-48 for a strikeout.

On DEEP drives here is the 2026 chart.
