For the 5th straight game Elly De La Cruz was the Reds player of thr game. He led off with a single against ace Hunter Brown, stole second, but was erase on a clutch defensive play by his counter part Jeremy Pena who snagged a line drive and threw him out.
In the 9th he bunted for a single against closer Josh Hader, stole the Reds 4th base in 4 tries against weak armed Yanier Diaz, and this time on a wild throw came all the way around to score.
However that was it for the Reds, letting the Astros Mauricio Dubon's 3-run clutch homer in the 4th give the Astros a 3-1 win.
