18 Hours Before Trade Deadline; Statis-Pro Reds Knock Braves Out of Playoff Picture

In our NL Statis-Pro season the Reds crushed the Braves, with their depleted starting rotation, 10-4 to win credit for a 3-games-to-0 sweep credit and knock the Braves out of the playoffs if they started today. The Braves rallied for a 3-0 win behind Fedde (who was acquired from the Cardinals) and the Braves strong bullpen but would miss the wildcard behind three wildcard teams in the East and the Padres.

We track the results and keep the table above on this google sheet - and the top lines appear above. We will update both the Statis-Pro batters and Statis-Pro pitchers after the 6 pm Eastern Thursday Trade deadline when rosters are settled for the season. You can play the free Statis-Pro game here or by buying cards and games online.

Below are the scoresheets from the 10-4 Reds win in Cincinnati and the 3-0 Braves win in Atlanta. Below that are the list of players from both teams.

Braves Depleted Rotation Starts TWO PB4-7 vs. Strong Reds Line-up

In all our years of playing Statis-Pro baseball, its rare we've thrown consecutive PB 4-7 pitchers in the Atlanta Braves rotation, but that is what the Cincinnati Reds will face due to Spencer Strider already having two starts through six games and the other four top pitchers all being on 60-day DL (we use player cards for a team unless they go to another team or are on 60-day DL).

This gives a great opportunity for the Cincinnati Reds and our early MVP frontrunner Elly De La Cruz, as he is one of five of the first six in their line-up who had home runs added in season to their initial projected cards do to an OPS much higher than the list projection. Links to all players for whom we have a card are included.
